Stores on the rotation

So, thus far, we have 3 stores on our "rotation" of stores. Seeing as how the only days I can be involved are on Sundays, Game Depot, Talon's Hideout, and Empire Games are all on the list for places to go and play for Club events. Will hopefully be speaking with Darren at both IO and Game Knightz and also Presto at Gamers Inn.

Well, Shane and I showed for the GD food drive tourney. I got pretty banged up playing Chris and Tom. My only victory came from playing a newer guy than me, who, against Dodie's and I hints and tips, decided to do it his way. But, it was still a fun game. Shane played Top 3 guys, Chris, Paul, and Tom.

Game Depot Food Drive WM/H Tournament Oct 25

750pts. WarMachine/Hordes Tournament at Game Depot on Saturday Oct. 25th.
The tournament will start at noon.
The entry is 3-5 cans of food for the Salvation Army.

We will be using the Broken Coast Scenarios and the Broken Coast Medals for prizes.

Painted/ Unpainted armies both welcome.

Painted armies play better.

Going to try to show up in force (all 4-5 of us) for this event!

We are looking for some able bodied Warcasters and Warlocks!

We are a new game club, trying to get some aspiring Warlocks and Warcasters to meet with us on Sundays at Empire Games. Empire Games sports 20+ full size gaming tables, full product lines, and a very knowledgeable staff! We meet at noon on Sundays, and we play until 5pm!

Club Charter

The Purpose Of The Charter
The Purpose of the Charter is to establish a standard of behavior for current and potential members of the AZ League of Journeyman Warlocks and Warcasters (AZLJWW). The Club has established and maintain a regimen of courteous play and behavior guidelines. With this in mind, the Charter has been established to firmly set guidelines expected of current members and to gauge the acceptability of potential and new members.
The Purpose Of The AZ League of Journeyman Warlocks and Warcasters (AZLJWW)
The Purpose of the AZ League of Journeyman Warlocks and Warcasters (AZLJWW) is to provide an atmosphere where all players, regardless of skill level, can play Warmachine and Hordes (WM/H) for the simple enjoyment of the social aspects of the game. The Club plays WM/H on the recreational level, where the act of winning is not as important as playing the game itself. The Club is dedicated to advancing the games of WM/H and promoting a sense of community within the Phoenix Area for WM/H players. From time to time, the Club will sponsor Tournament Play, for the benefit of the community, to provide a fun, competitive environment to help players pit their skills against other players from around the area.
Player Attitude & Behavior
In order to maintain an excellent reputation, the AZ League of Journeyman Warlocks and Warcasters (AZLJWW) shall NOT tolerate the following from its members:
1. Abusive behavior and/or language;
2. Treating new or inexperienced players like "cannon fodder";
3. Any form of cheating or willful breaking of Published and Errata’d rules;
4. Arguing with sponsoring store staff; and
5. Any other form of behavior that is offensive to another player or Club Member of the AZLJWW (within reasonable parameters).
6. Any action that brings the hobby or game into repute.
Club members will endeavor to do the following, every time they play:
1. Help newer players with their armies where and when they can;
2. Because newer players can be intimidated by even the sight of an experienced player, when playing as walk-ons, Club members shall attempt to alleviate any apparent fears or misconceptions newer players may have about the game itself or Club members and their armies;
3. Endeavor to provide some leadership, help and encouragement for newer players during actual play;
4. promote good sportsmanship and fair play;
5. Any other helpful or courteous act, when the opportunity should arise.
Membership
Membership is restricted to those who adhere to the letter and spirit of the Rules and Charter established by the AZ League of Journeyman Warlocks and Warcasters (AZLJWW). Membership is not "lifetime", and ALL current members are on permanent probation. Those who do not strive to abide by the letter and spirit of the Rules and Charter will not be considered for future events and play days. Members who bring guest(s) out to Club events shall assume responsibility for that guest or guests.
Finally...
The AZ League of Journeyman Warlocks and Warcasters (AZLJWW) reserves the right to deny any player the opportunity to play with the Club during any future playing days. The Club will not tolerate any player whose actions in any way adversely affect the hard-earned reputation the Club presently enjoys.
